The 2nd Japan-US Technical Information Exchange Forum on Blast Injury (JUFBI 2017)

The DoD Blast Injury Research Program Coordinating Office (PCO), National Defense Medical College Japan (NDMC) (a component of the Japan Self-Defense Force), Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TAT), and the U.S. Army, Research Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) established the Japan-US Technical Information Exchange Forum on Blast Injury (JUFBI) to bring together the broad knowledge and expertise across the blast injury research community and to share national experiences and evidence-based approaches for treating blast injuries.

The 2nd JUFBI (JUFBI 2017) will take place on April 14–16, 2017 and is being hosted by the NDMC. It will be held at the Hotel Grand Hill Ichigaya, Tokyo, Japan.

JUFBI 2017 will cover several broad topic areas, including blast injury epidemiology; primary blast injury; prevention, protection, and mitigation of blast injury; diagnosis of blast injury; and novel methods and technology for blast injury research.

March 20, 2017 – Abstract submission deadline
April 5, 2017 – Registration deadline
