The Blast Injury Research Coordinating Office participates in various local, national, and international research collaboration meetings, supporting the EA responsibilities to promote information sharing, disseminate blast injury research information, and facilitate collaboration across the DoD, academia, and industry.
The Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) is the Department of Defense's premier scientific meeting. It provides a venue for presenting new scientific knowledge resulting from military-unique research and development. The MHSRS is the only military or civilian meeting that focuses specifically on the unique medical needs of the Warfighter.
Under the US/Israel Data Exchange Agreement for Military Medicine, the two countries exchange information on a broad array of medical research topic areas. One venue for this exchange of information is the Shoresh Conference on Military Medicine, that encompasses all research areas within the US Army portfolio and naval aerospace medicine, providing a joint service perspective between the US and Israel. Military Medicine Partner Days (MMPD) is an opportunity for science and industry representatives to learn more about the DoD Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) missions, programs, gap areas, and the complexities of medicine within a military environment. Representatives of industry and academia can meet with DoD officials to discuss pertinent advances in medical research through advanced development, as well as explore an exhibit hall featuring current DoD sponsored products and technologies.

The Military Aspects of Blast and Shock (MABS) Symposia is a specialized meeting focused on the military use of blast and thermal simulators providing the international blast community with an opportunity to gather, present research, discuss ideas, and exchange information.
The DoD Blast Injury Research Coordinating Office, National Defense Medical College Japan, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and the US Army, Research Development, and Engineering Command established the Japan-US Technical Information Exchange Forum on Blast Injury (JUFBI) under the umbrella of the US-Japan Data Exchange Agreement Annex (DEA-DT-2015-JA-0001) to bring together the broad knowledge and expertise across the blast injury research community and to share national experiences and evidence-based approaches for treating blast injuries. The US-Japan Service to Service (S2S) Forum Meeting was formally established on November 5, 2015 under a Terms of Reference, and is the US Army's highest level bilateral Armaments Cooperation forum with Japan. The S2S provides a forum for the US and Japan to share Army/Ground materiel and technology requirements, identify common technology gaps, and attempt to address those gaps with armaments cooperation solutions, i.e., Information and Personnel Exchanges, and Project Arrangements.
